Layne Shea

Layne Shea is a true Aspen native, born and raised in the West End. Throughout her life, Layne has had a first-hand perspective of the real estate market in Aspen through her father Dale – giving her an exceptional understanding of the industry’s intricacies. Layne executed sales, lead major mixed-use commercial development projects, provided sales support and oversaw marketing for Peak Properties for several years, before establishing herself as a founding principal of Stirling Peak Properties.  In her role as owner/broker, she blends her knowledge of all things Aspen with the guiding values that shaped Peak’s great reputation.

After completing comprehensive coursework, documenting performance in the top 10% of the Aspen market (including the $20,685,000 sale of a Star Mesa Ranch estate in 2015), and having successfully demonstrated my expertise in the luxury home and estate market – Layne was awarded the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation and became a Million Dollar Guild Member.

Layne grew up exploring the outdoors with her family on the Roaring Fork River, the hiking trails of the Hunter Creek Valley, and the slopes of Aspen Mountain.  After attending the University of Colorado at Boulder and traveling extensively over-seas, she returned “home” to live in Basalt for 7 years. She is now in Aspen, living less than a mile from where she grew up, a short bike ride to her son’s school and in the heart of it all.

Away from the office, Layne can always be found actively pursuing her passions outside or planning her next great travel adventure.  There’s a reason that Layne Shea always returns to the valley, and she’d love to show you why.
