Growing up in rural Vermont, just miles from the Canadian border, Jay has an innate love for the outdoors and the mountain lifestyle. It was this passion that led him to Colorado after getting his degree from the University of Vermont. He initially called Boulder home, playing an active role in the technology boom through consulting and sales. In 2005 he was drawn to Aspen’s smaller, ski-town community for it “felt like home” and provided an opportunity to work with one of the top home technology companies in the country. With roles in both sales and project management throughout his tenure, he was intricately involved in the real estate industry – working closely with home owners, contractors, architects, and designers on more than 200 high-end residences in Aspen and across the globe. This not only gave him an intimate knowledge of the luxury housing market in Aspen, but also helped him build invaluable relationships in the community.

Jay’s deep appreciation for what Aspen has to offer inspired him to become a real estate broker. He finds satisfaction in helping clients enjoy the mountain lifestyle and guiding them through one of life’s most important and often landmark decisions. His genuine, personal approach, ability to connect with people, and entrepreneurial spirit contributes to his success in the industry.

As an avid skier, competitive cyclist and volunteer for both the Buddy Program and the Aspen Young Professionals Association, Jay actively embraces the Aspen lifestyle. He also enjoys kicking back, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.

Real estate inspired by People

What I love about real estate in our valley is that it provides an ample opportunity to work with people from all over the world and from all walks of life. Each individual has a different story and a different reason why they choose the Aspen valley for their destination or home. It is getting to know people, building relationships with people, and ultimately helping people that inspires me as a Realtor.
