Carol Ann Jacobson Kopf has specialized in high-end residential real estate sales since 1967, resulting in worldwide friendships and referral contacts. She was the owner/manager of Carol Ann Jacobson Realty for thirty-seven years, was named Aspen Realtor of the Year in 2004, and has been an integral figure in the Aspen real estate industry for over four decades. She joined Stirling Peak Properties to, once again, be part of a boutique brokerage. Her commitment to the community has been demonstrated by service on boards of the Aspen Music Festival and School, the Aspen/Santa Fe Ballet, The Aspen Foundation, The Aspen Medical Foundation, Pitkin County Bank and Trust (later Vectra Bank), the Aspen Center for Physics and the Aspen Hall of Fame. For many years she was on the board of Futures for Children, an Albuquerque-based group working for the benefit of Native American children in the Southwest.
Married to builder Don Kopf in 1973, Carol Ann and Don built and remodeled many properties in Aspen, and designed and built two homes in Cave Creek, Arizona. Carol Ann is also a licensed Broker in Arizona. Their two daughters, Dawn and Dani, make their homes in the Aspen area.
A long-time skier, Carol Ann also enjoys hiking, birding, golf, and travel. Reading takes up whatever spare time can be created.
